It’d be a shame if the car on the right threw open its door really hard a few dozen times or if the driver of said car had keys dangling out of their pocket and brushed up against it a few dozen times. A real shame.
Also, Honda wheel design ugh.

“But I was just running in!”
Btw, don’t ever say that to me. It triggers me like some people get triggered by “I was just following orders”.

Hey, my pilot is fine, considering what I was working with

And also the curb, and maybe a sidewalk

The one on the right is mine. If I only had door guards

Fully understandable. I got an uncle with MS, and I feel the same.

Do you have a valve stem core tool? Cause that’d be acceptable in this instance.

One of the great things about owning an old beater is, when you come out and you see something like that parked next to your driver’s side, with a shiny new car you are always concerned about dinging the edge of your driver’s side door when you’re try
ing to squeeze
in
to your car, but with a beater, just swing that baby open as far as it’ll go,
bam
.

I loved having a MINI, because I'd find people who purposely parked in two spots, then park next to them anyway. Bonus if you could manage drivers side

I’ve got a Miata, which is pretty compact, but all that does is invite the SUV morons to park even further over the line into my space.
By the way, not that this is relevant to what we’re discussing, but have you ever gotten a nail in one of your tires? You can drive thousands of miles with an ordinary nail in a tire and never even notice it, except you may have to pump up the tire pressure a little more often. The nail just sticks in there and you don’t notice it unless you look real close. So if for some reason you you did want to put a nail in a tire that would flatten it tout suite , you don’t want to use an ordinary carpenter’s nail like this:
No, you would want to use the land surveyor’s favorite, the Parker-Kalon chrome-plated masonry nail, like this:
They’re
relatively heavy, so once the car is rolling along the PK nail is flung out by centrifugal force, and they’re fat, so they make a nice big hole,
so the tire goes flat in a jiffy.
Not that you would have any reason to prop a nail up against somebody’s
tire to
flatten it, of course
. That would be wrong.

I fucking hate the pilot.

Why? I'd look at the Kia or Subaru now, but before those were out the pilot was best by far. Still shorter than a minivan, but you can fit an adult in the third row, unlike the Highlander

Feels “Honda cheap” for its price range the cx9 felt more premium to me plus it drove too much like a oddisey which i also hate i feel the same about the ridgeline.

I once masqueraded as a surveyor’s helper for a summer and can vouch for the awesome piercing power of PK nails. Wood, asphalt , concrete, block of ice: PK don’t care. I probably have a handful of them around here somewhere, should probably think about moving to the car’s glove box for safe keeping. You know, in case of a zombie apocalypse or such like.

Except the CX9 is almost 2 seconds slower to 60. CX9 has the best interior , but it’s driveline is not powerful enough for it’s size.
